We hereby inform you that the personal data obtained through the data collection forms on www.iisgm.com shall be processed by FIBHGM for the purpose indicated in the information clause included in the forms. We expressly recommend reading these information clauses before proceeding to submit your personal data. In the event that the data are to be disclosed to third parties located within or outside the European Economic Area, FIBHGM shall first request the consent, where necessary, of the data subject for this purpose, indicating to whom such data will be disclosed and for what purpose. Likewise, the data collected through the email addresses included on the website shall be processed for the purpose of managing and maintaining the professional relationships we have with you and, where applicable, for sending commercial communications that may be of interest to you. Should you request a grant to participate in research projects or request to participate in research competitions promoted by FIBHGM, your data shall be processed for the purpose of disseminating and managing biomedical research projects and competitions at the Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón and, where applicable, for sending commercial communications that may be of interest to you. You may freely object to receiving such communications, without this affecting our contractual, commercial and professional relationships. Your data may be disclosed to organisations directly related to the Management of Research Projects (such as the Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón and project funding entities), the Tax Administration, other Public Administrations with competence in the matter and the banking entities necessary to carry out this management. We also inform you that publications you produce may be published in the Foundation's Annual Report; likewise, grants awarded and prizes for the best publication may be published on the FIBHGM website. The personal data provided through the newsletter form shall be processed by FIBHGM confidentially, strictly and rigorously, and solely for the purpose of sending you our newsletter and updated information from FIBHGM. You are required to complete all the fields requested in the form; otherwise, we will be unable to process your request to subscribe to our newsletter. Your data shall not be disclosed to third parties located within or outside the European Economic Area, except when required by law or by the competent authorities. The data provided shall in all cases be processed in accordance with the provisions of European and national data protection regulations from the time of your subscription until you unsubscribe from the service or withdraw your consent.

If you have sent your CV to FIBHGM's postal or email addresses or provided it through the Madri+d platform, we inform you that your data shall be processed by FIBHGM to manage its personnel selection processes for vacant positions at the Foundation. By applying for the position, you give us your consent for your data to be disclosed to the other researchers interested in participating in the programme for which you have submitted your CV, as well as to the principal investigator so that they can manage the group to which you belong. Your data may not be disclosed to any other third party; likewise, no international data transfers are envisaged. This processing of data is necessary to deal with your employment request and is based on the consent you give us when sending us your CV; likewise, your consent when submitting your application is also the legal basis for disclosing your data to the third-party researchers interested in participating in the programme for which you have submitted your CV. If you are not selected in the selection process, we shall retain your CV for 1 year for subsequent selection processes. Once this period has elapsed, we shall delete all your data from our information systems.

The data collected through the innovative ideas collection form shall be processed by FIBHGM for the purpose of managing the ideas and comments you send to us through this form and, where applicable, for sending commercial communications that may be of interest to you. You may freely object to receiving such communications, without this affecting our contractual, commercial and professional relationships. In order to carry out this management, your data shall not be disclosed to third parties located within or outside the European Economic Area, except when required by law or by the competent authorities. Likewise, the data collected through the "Suggestion Box" form shall be processed by FIBHGM for the purpose of managing the suggestions you send to us through this form and, where applicable, for sending commercial communications that may be of interest to you. The legal basis legitimising the processing of your data for this purpose is the legitimate interest of FIBHGM in managing its users' suggestions; likewise, your consent is also the legal basis legitimising the processing of your data for the purpose of sending you commercial information, where applicable. Your data shall be retained by FIBHGM while your request is being processed and, therefore, while the legitimate interest of FIBHGM prevails, or for the processing of data for the purpose of sending you commercial communications until you object to such processing. You are required to complete all the fields requested in the form; otherwise, we will be unable to process your request.

In all cases, you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, data portability and restriction of the processing of your data by contacting the Data Protection Officer of FIBHGM, located at C/ Doctor Esquerdo 46, Pabellón de Gobierno, ground floor, 28007 Madrid, or at gerencia@fibhgm.org, enclosing a copy of your national identity document duly proving your identity. This Privacy Policy was updated in May 2018. FIBHGM reserves the right to modify its Privacy Policy in the event of any change in applicable legislation, case law or its own business criteria. Should any change be introduced into this policy, the new text shall be published at this same address.
