Advanced Neuroimaging Processing (PAN)

Mission

The Advanced Neuroimaging Processing Service (PAN) offers the software, space and know-how required to conduct multimodal neuroimaging studies in humans. The service consists of a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, doctors of neuroscience, doctors of physics and engineers, enabling it to efficiently address the various steps required in neuroimaging studies: from designing magnetic resonance acquisition sequences to preparing figures for scientific publications, including statistical analysis and the development of processing pipelines.

One of the group's objectives is the development, implementation and updating of image-processing methodologies, focused mainly on magnetic resonance imaging. In addition, the service provides imaging support to other researchers, both from the hospital and from other centres.

The group maintains national and international collaborations with centres of excellence, such as the University of Pennsylvania, the University of California and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. At national level, the group leads the CIBER neuroimaging platform.
