“Telémaco” Mentorship Programme
This is a programme that seeks to facilitate an exchange of experiences, knowledge and skills between a mentor and the person who needs to develop them, the mentee.
The objectives pursued are:
- Provide information on career options
- Facilitate professional development
- Develop professional relationships
- Create individual career plans
- Improve leadership skills
- Provide peer support by sharing knowledge and experiences
The process lasts 6 months; during this period, participants commit to holding 6-8 sessions.
This programme is aimed at R1 and R2 researchers who meet the following criteria:
- Researchers up to 35 years of age.
- Be a Junior predoctoral researcher.
- Be enrolled in a doctoral programme.
- Have great potential for professional development.

The Programa Telémaco is part of the activities set out in the Human Resources Strategy for Research - Human Resources Strategy for Researchers - HRS4R Action Plan of the IiSGM (Gregorio Marañón Health Research Institute).
