IV edition of the National Conference “BIOLOGICAL CONTROL IN THE HEALTHCARE SECTOR: BIOSAFETY AND BIOCONTAINMENT"
Assembly Hall, Fundación Jiménez Díaz University Hospital
Next 22 October, the IV National Conference "Biological Control in Healthcare Settings: Biosafety and Biocontainment" will be held at Hospital Universitario Fundación Jiménez Díaz.
Following the success achieved in previous editions at other major hospital complexes in the region, this event—established as a key sector gathering—brings together leading national specialists to discuss and update containment and biosafety protocols in accordance with international standards and current legislation.
The conference will address critical thematic areas for the hospital and research environment, including:
- Design and maintenance of biocontainment areas: Assessment of critical infrastructure and high-security laboratories.
- Biological risk management in clinical and research practice: New challenges posed by emerging pathogens.
- Control protocols and innovation: Advanced technological solutions for disinfection, air treatment and protective equipment.
This event is aimed especially at physicians, researchers, biologists, nursing staff, occupational risk prevention technicians and professionals working in hospital maintenance and cleaning services.
Attendance at the event is free upon registration, with limited capacity for in-person attendance; it will also be broadcast live via streaming. A charge of €10 will apply in the event of non-attendance without prior cancellation.
