5 HRS OF SWIMMING. TOGETHER FOR CHILDHOOD CANCER
Club Aguas Abiertas Arganda will organise on Saturday 14 May, from 15:00 to 20:00, at the indoor swimming pool of the Ciudad Deportiva Príncipe Felipe in the municipality of Arganda del Rey, a charity swimming event in support of childhood cancer research carried out at Hospital Gregorio Marañón.
This activity is being held in aid of the Brazadas por Sonrisas charity project, and its aim is to raise funds for the Fundación de Investigación del Hospital Gregorio Marañón, specifically for the paediatric Oncohaematology department.
During the five hours, one swimmer will swim continuously, while the rest of the participants will swim in hourly series.
• 1st Series at 15:00: Start at 15:00, finish at 16:00.
• 2nd Series at 16:00: Start at 16:00, finish at 17:00.
• 3rd Series at 17:00: Start at 17:00, finish at 18:00.
• 4th Series at 18:00: Start at 18:00, finish at 19:00.
• 5th Series at 18:00: Start at 19:00, finish at 20:00.

Registration costs 10 euros and the registration period is still open. The proceeds from the event will go to the Oncohaematology department at Hospital Gregorio Marañón, and the organisers’ aim is to reach 150 swimmers and thus complete a total of 300 kilometres.
