8th edition of the 2025 Course on Methodology in Biomedical Research - IiSGM
We announce that the 8th edition of the "Course on Methodology in Biomedical Research" 2025, organised by IiSGM in collaboration with the company IMC, will begin shortly and the registration period will open on 1 April 2025.
In its eighth edition, the course will be entirely online. The classes will be available to students in video format so that they can watch them between 7 April and 11 May, during which time the lecturers will be available by email to answer any questions that may arise before taking a short test to assess the degree of benefit obtained from the course. The exam may be taken until 23:59 on 11 May 2025. Students who pass it may request a certificate of completion.
The aim of the course is to present the fundamentals of scientific research throughout its chronological development, from the emergence of the research question to the publication of the research results: formulation of the scientific question, bibliographic search tools, basic methodological tools for study design, data collection and statistical analysis, as well as the methodology for the correct interpretation of results and the preparation of manuscripts. Essentially, the aim is to provide researchers with the knowledge necessary to carry out high-quality scientific activity.
