24/02 4th UAM BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM

The Symposium will be held on the Campus of the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Madrid on 19 May 2017 and will focus on “Advances and Perspectives in Immunology and Immunotherapy”. This field of research is characterised by the rapid emergence of new findings that contribute to an understanding of immune disorders, as well as to the development and improvement of classification for new personalised therapeutic strategies. Emphasis will be placed on the participation of both basic and clinical researchers to foster the translation of new scientific findings into clinical practice.

The meeting will bring together researchers, postgraduate students and sponsors from the biomedical industry.

The Symposium will consist of invited lectures and moderated panel and oral communication sessions, including time for discussion both within and outside the sessions.
