The Rosa María Vivar Foundation funds a highly innovative research project aimed at accelerating the development of pharmacological approaches focused on curing or substantially modifying Alzheimer’s disease. Proposals are sought with a strong preclinical basis, scientific rigour, clear translational potential and the capacity to generate measurable results within a 24-month period.
Foreign entities may participate through international consortia, provided that the main coordinating entity is based in Spain.
The deadline for submitting the pre-proposal (LOI) is 30 September 2026 and, if selected, the deadline for submitting the full proposal is 20 January 2027.
Interested parties must submit their application by 12:00 noon on 21 September, together with the evaluation application form, for assessment by the iiSGM Research Committee email link(ELIMINAR).
Requirements
Applicants must:
- Belong to an R&D&I entity headquartered or established in Spain.
- Submit the application in English.
- Accept the terms and conditions of the call.
- Declare the absence of double funding for the project.
- Provide evidence of compliance with the eligibility requirements.
