The 2026 Innovation Talent Awards, promoted by the UAM-Merck Chair in Innovation in Science and Healthcare, aim to recognise and highlight the research excellence of young scientists developing innovative projects with an impact on improving patients’ health and quality of life.
The call is open to scientific articles published during 2025 that provide significant advances in the areas of Oncology, Fertility, Neurology, Paediatric Endocrinology and Rare Tumours, especially those that stand out for their innovative nature and collaboration between different research centres.
An award will be granted in each of the established categories, with a financial prize of 2,000€ awarded to the principal author signing the recognised article. The awards will be subject to the applicable tax withholdings in accordance with current regulations.
