The Instituto de Investigación Sanitara Gregorio Marañón (IiSGM) has organised a meeting to foster the creation of companies that drive projects derived from research in the healthcare field. To this end, it brought together the various stakeholders involved in the creation and financing of start-ups and innovative projects aimed at improving patients’ lives.
This is the third edition of the Healthcare Entrepreneurship Conference, organised by the Unidad de Apoyo a la Innovación (UAI) of the IiSGM, which has established itself as a benchmark in healthcare entrepreneurship driven directly from a hospital centre. The conference received support from GENESIS Biomed, HOFFMANN EITLE, Dinamiza Aceleradora de la Investigación en Salud and the ITEMAS Platform (Plataforma ISCIII de Dinamización e innovación de las capacidades industriales del SNS y su transferencia efectiva al sector productivo), which worked alongside the Fundación de Investigación Biomédica del Hospital Gregorio Marañón (FIBHGM) as an instrument for promoting, managing and developing research.
