On July 28, the Council of Ministers approved the ISCIII call for proposals for IMPaCT.
Its objective is to consolidate the Precision Medicine infrastructure in the National Health System through three fundamental pillars:
Predictive Medicine (Cohorte IMPaCT): Large-scale population study to identify risk factors and anticipate diseases.
Data Science (IMPaCT Data): Integration and advanced analysis of clinical, genomic and environmental data.
Genomic Medicine (IMPaCT Genómica): Complex genome analyses aimed at patients with rare diseases without a diagnosis and certain types of cancer.
