Research Committee

Main functions:

Promote research quality
Advise the Directorate on research planning and scientific policy at IiSGM.
Advise on the definition of research lines.
Identify priority and emerging lines that should be promoted.
Assess suitability and prepare prioritised proposals concerning the acquisition of infrastructure.
Assess suitability and prepare prioritised proposals concerning the provision of human resources.
Advise on applications for research projects, the submission of reports and research quality control.

In addition to:

Provide information and evaluate projects.
Define training programmes, coordinate, organise and convene activities that train and, where applicable, accredit, research staff and healthcare staff generally involved in research.
Promote research through conferences and seminars that disseminate the research activity carried out at the centre and encourage collaboration between the different groups.
Participate in the definition of intramural research support programmes (grants, support contracts, travel grants, thesis editing grants, etc.).
